No Girt. No Pearl.
I am often told that I have been very strong in facing adversity in the harrowing story of intimate partner/domestic violence and the sheer will to protect the most valuable thing to me on this earth - my daughter.
When I start to think about it, I cry, but then I am reminded of faith, and the pain that drives me also produces a grit inside of me that will prevail into that of a precious gem; a story I will proudly tell one day in hopes of inspiring others. I started this blog to share the intricacies of the challenges that I have faced, the setbacks that I have had, but the faith and hope in victory that will prevail.
To me, this is not an act of bravery, but the fact that I am left with no other choice.
I must share my story with the world. My story may give someone else hope that has experienced a similar circumstance.
